About this listing

45m2 flat with 1 bedroom, 1 living room, kitchen, bathroom and a small balcony.

Located between Parque das Nações and Lisbon Airport, it is 600 meters from the metro station, 10 minutes walk from Lisbon International Fair and Altice Arena, 2 stations from the airport and 1 station from Gare do Oriente.

It is an aged area with excellent local shops and small family run restaurants and one of the most interesting and typical areas of Lisbon

The space

The apartment was completely rehabilitated in 2014, having kept one of the characteristics of the season, its wooden floors that gives it a very special beauty and is composed of:

Bedroom with 12m2 with a double bed. The double bed can be converted into 2 single beds.

Living room with 8m2 with TV, and a couch that can sleep 2 people comfortably.

The kitchen has induction hob, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, water heater.

The bathroom is a full bathroom with shower.

They also have a rare feature: 2 exterior doors, one in the hallway and the other in the bedroom. Pray the evil tongues that had two functions, serving either for the husband to make a strategic retreat either for lover sneak out. In fact, it would have allowed the tenants to sub-lease this room, which says a great deal about the needs of these people at that time.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of the storage area.

Getting around

Moscavide is very well served by transport. The subway station is 600m away, bus 728 runs along the riverside area to Belém, and the aeoroporto is two subway stations away.

The Oriente Station will be a metro station away and is the main hub for buses and trains in Lisbon

Neighbourhood

Moscavide is one of the last traditional neighbourhoods in Lisbon, with many traditional shops and restaurants. Its population is mainly composed of elderly people, which translates into a very quiet and safe neighbourhood.

It is an old area with excellent local shops and small family restaurants and one of the most interesting and typical areas of Lisbon for those who like to meet the locals.

Check-in and check-out times

Check-in time is between 17:00 and 22:00 on the start date of your booking unless another time has been agreed with us.

Check-out time is until 11:00 on the last day of your booking unless another time has been agreed with us. Unauthorized late departures will incur additional charges.

On the day of arrival, guests must present their identity documents (passport or identity card) to the owners.

By law, we are obliged to report some personal details of each guest to the Immigration and Borders Service (SEF).

Extra guests

The guest on whose behalf the booking was made must stay in the accommodation as we cannot accept bookings for other people.

Extra people are not allowed beyond the number of people on the reservation.

Airbnb and Booking take this issue so seriously that in the event of a complaint, the booking is canceled and the guest is not entitled to any compensation.

Quiet hours

Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 7:00.

Please keep noise levels to a minimum during this time to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.

Tobacco and drugs

As a family home, we have a no-smoking policy, so we ask that you do not smoke inside the property

What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when you stay in our home, we have a strict no drugs policy.

Pets

Although animals can be very well-behaved at home, how they will behave in a new space is not a given. And nobody wants to hear a dog barking at 2am or a cat meowing

Unfortunately, the costs of cleaning up after the animal are enormous in order to avoid allergies for the next guests.

And then there's the problem of smell: nobody who has an animal thinks their house smells bad. But anyone who enters the house will smell it immediately. The house would have to be open for 2 or 3 days for the smell to disappear and that's very expensive.

Any violation of this rule will incur an extra cleaning fee.

Parties

For us, the safety and well-being of hosts, guests and the community in general are a priority, so parties and events of any kind are forbidden in the apartment.

Garbage and recycling

Die Anreise war unkompliziert mit der Metro. Die Wohnung war für den Preis klasse. Leider ist die Lage nicht ganz optimal für uns gewesen. Wenn man einen leichten Schlaf wie ich hat, dann könnte man nachts Probleme haben einen ruhigen Schlaf zu finden, da ein schließen des Fensters bei sommerlichen Temperaturen eher ungünstig ist. Ansonsten war die Wohnung mit allem was man so braucht ausgestattet und vollkommen zufriedenstellend. Adelaide war stets erreichbar und ein großartiger Host.

Adelaide è un’ospite molto cordiale, gentile e attenta. Parla molto bene l’inglese quindi la comunicazione è stata semplicissima. Lenzuola e asciugamani erano puliti e profumati. Le istruzioni per il check-in e il checkout erano chiare. La casa è vecchiotta quindi muri/porte e simili avrebbero bisogno di un po di manutenzione, ma per il resto piacevole il soggiorno. Nell’alloggio si sentono tutti i rumori sia di altri coinquilini sia provenienti dalla strada quindi procuratevi dei tappi per dormire se siete sensibili al rumore.

Selected this Airbnb because of its distance from the MEO Arena as I was visiting Lisbon for a conference. Check-in and check-out instructions were smooth and clear. The building entryway had both an unpleasant smell and sight but once you get up to the apartment everything was just as described in photos/listing. It’s a bit loud on the street with cars passing by so just be aware of that when you book! Overall a good location and okay pricing for what you get.
